One of my favorite movies back in the 80s was Clint
Eastwood’s FireFox.
It was set back in the Cold War days and Clint was a
pilot who was sent on a mission to steal a prototype
jet fighter that can be partly controlled by a ‘neuralink’
…thought guided weaponary.
A classic line that I will never forget was when he
was asked ‘can you do it’…and Clint nonchalantly said
”Yeah, I can fly it. I’m the BEST there is….”
How cool was that…J
Now, Clint may not have been the best…but he
certainly believed he was good enough, if not the best
to do the job…
As we mentioned before, your MINDSET…your
attitude….and the way you think is absolutely critical.
The question is, how can YOU become the BEST YOU
can be.
The answer is simple…as it is timeless. Surround
yourself with winners and mentors and people who
truly believe they’re on a mission to change the world
and be the best they can be in their profession/industry.
Partly, I developed this mindset by being born in a
family of high achievers…my grandfather was the
“King Of Tin Mines” in Malaysia – the Donald Trump
of Mining you could say back in the early 20th century.
He was the best of the best…and books were written
about his life and how he transformed his industry
through innovation and leadership.
Now, some of you may go…well, I’m not so lucky…
I wasn’t born with a silver spoon (and nor was I despite
my heritage…my grandfather made sure of that!) or
part of the “lucky gene pool”.
Of course, it does help…but there is another way. In
fact, in many cases – it’s a disadvantage to some extent.
From the pressure, to the expectations etc…most 2nd
and 3rd generations from wealthy families – especially
if they’re spoilt don’t ever really amount to much.
Rather, my grandfather came from nothing…but he
had the burning desire to succeed because of
circumstances as well as developing the right mentors.
So if you’re ready to be the BEST you can be…there’s
ONLY ONE particular network I’m in that I
