You know what’s the hardest marketing thing to do in
today’s economy?
Getting someone’s attention.
We’re bombarded with thousands of message a day
wherever we go.
And there are literally thousands of online businesses
that are vying for your prospects attention, claiming
to be the next “IT”.
Which is why, there has to be a better way.
Chances are…whatever business you have – if you told
someone – a random friend/prospect…they would have
NEVER heard of it.
Which is why most people don’t lead with their product
or opportunity …but some sort of a ‘sizzle’ movie that
talks generically about ‘becoming financially free’ etc.
What this means, is that they probably think what
you have is a SCAM or something very dodgy at
best.
You’re fighting an uphill battle from the get go.
Yes, all the attraction marketing gurus out there then
explain that is the reason why you need to brand
yourself. Because your company is NOT branded lol
Isn’t it hilarious? But sad? I mean, how many of us
really have the skills to create a brand around
themselves…easily?
It’s NOT! Believe me, it took me around 5-7 years
of being an entrepreneur to finally believe I was
good enough to have my own TV show…
I mean I had the skills…but my BELIEF wasn’t there.
I’m too short, I’m too fat, I’m too ugly…I don’t
speak well enough etc etc blablablah.
It ALL doesn’t matter!!! If you have the BELIEF and
the PASSION.
I could name dozens of Hollywood stars (And stars
in any profession) who don’t fit the stereo type of
being a ‘STAR’ but they ended up being one…
(because they believed they could be and never ever
quit pursuing their dreams!)
Ok, so that’s why for most people ‘branding’ yourself
is not going to be an easy thing to do….not at least
until you’ve built up some belief and skills.
(Now don’t get me wrong, while Attraction Marketing
SUCKS … and most things worth while doing suck
to some degree initially haha…so first discover your
WHY and develop your belief muscles! Or your
own branded websites won’t convey the energy
to really attract anyone)
So what is a franchise? And is your home based
business really one?
A franchise is a ‘franchise’ in part, because not only
does it have some proven track record and the systems
and training in place…but generally, they’ve spent
the money to build up a brand that has some sort of
market awareness.
Companies spend billions of dollars to build up
their brand through advertising.
You’ve all heard of Starbucks, Subway…McDonalds
etc…but they’ve been around for decades and they
literally have spent Billions of dollars to build up a
brand.
