One of my favorite movies back in the 80s was Clint
Eastwood’s FireFox.

It was set back in the Cold War days and Clint was a
pilot who was sent on a mission to steal a prototype
jet fighter that can be partly controlled by a ‘neuralink’
…thought guided weaponary.

A classic line that I will never forget was when he
was asked ‘can you do it’…and Clint nonchalantly said

”Yeah, I can fly it. I’m the BEST there is….”

How cool was that…J

Now, Clint may not have been the best…but he
certainly believed he was good enough, if not the best
to do the job…

As we mentioned before, your MINDSET…your
attitude….and the way you think is absolutely critical.

The question is, how can YOU become the BEST YOU
can be.

The answer is simple…as it is timeless. Surround
yourself with winners and mentors and people who
truly believe they’re on a mission to change the world
and be the best they can be in their profession/industry.

Partly, I developed this mindset by being born in a
family of high achievers…my grandfather was the
“King Of Tin Mines” in Malaysia – the Donald Trump
of Mining you could say back in the early 20^th century.

He was the best of the best…and books were written
about his life and how he transformed his industry
through innovation and leadership.

Now, some of you may go…well, I’m not so lucky…
I wasn’t born with a silver spoon (and nor was I despite
my heritage…my grandfather made sure of that!) or
part of the “lucky gene pool”.

Of course, it does help…but there is another way. In
fact, in many cases – it’s a disadvantage to some extent.

and 3^rd generations from wealthy families – especially
if they’re spoilt don’t ever really amount to much.

Rather, my grandfather came from nothing…but he
had the burning desire to succeed because of
circumstances as well as developing the right mentors.

The amazing thing about network marketing is simply
leverage.

I can’t think of a single other business that the average
person can get into and build a multiple 5 of 6 figure
monthly residual income…and all for a few hundred
bucks to get started.

Residual income, is of course the holy grail. It’s walk
away income…whether you work or not.

Having just $3000 a month in residual income is like
having $1,000,000 in the bank.

On the downside? If you’re committed to learning and
developing entrepreneurial skills…there’s absolutely no
downside in my opinion.

Why?

Total spend normally is around $2,000 a year (say $100
to $150 a month for your autoship of products). And
don’t forget, many of your existing purchases of similar
products can be replaced by the products you buy in
your network marketing business also.

owning a home based business. Many of your expenses

financial intelligence and develop 21^st century skills

then you’re gonna be left behind.

with a network marketing business in my opinion.

I mean just one subject in college alone will set you

back around $2,000 and what do you learn? Nothing
really practical!!

Truth is, everyone should develop these skills that
are NOT taught in college/high school and in homes
across America, let alone the world.

Sure, the ‘Rich’ teach their kids…but most of us
didn’t grow up with silver spoons did we…

You know what’s the hardest marketing thing to do in
today’s economy?

Getting someone’s attention.

We’re bombarded with thousands of message a day
wherever we go.

And there are literally thousands of online businesses
that are vying for your prospects attention, claiming
to be the next “IT”.

Which is why, there has to be a better way.

Chances are…whatever business you have – if you told
someone – a random friend/prospect…they would have
NEVER heard of it.

Which is why most people don’t lead with their product
or opportunity …but some sort of a ‘sizzle’ movie that
talks generically about ‘becoming financially free’ etc.

What this means, is that they probably think what
you have is a SCAM or something very dodgy at
best.

You’re fighting an uphill battle from the get go.

Yes, all the attraction marketing gurus out there then
explain that is the reason why you need to brand
yourself. Because your company is NOT branded lol

Isn’t it hilarious? But sad? I mean, how many of us
really have the skills to create a brand around
themselves…easily?

It’s NOT! Believe me, it took me around 5-7 years
of being an entrepreneur to finally believe I was
good enough to have my own TV show…

I mean I had the skills…but my BELIEF wasn’t there.

I’m too short, I’m too fat, I’m too ugly…I don’t
speak well enough etc etc blablablah.

It ALL doesn’t matter!!! If you have the BELIEF and
the PASSION.

I could name dozens of Hollywood stars (And stars
in any profession) who don’t fit the stereo type of
being a ‘STAR’ but they ended up being one…
(because they believed they could be and never ever
quit pursuing their dreams!)

Ok, so that’s why for most people ‘branding’ yourself
is not going to be an easy thing to do….not at least
until you’ve built up some belief and skills.

(Now don’t get me wrong, while Attraction Marketing
SUCKS … and most things worth while doing suck
to some degree initially haha…so first discover your
WHY and develop your belief muscles! Or your
own branded websites won’t convey the energy
to really attract anyone)

So what is a franchise? And is your home based
business really one?

A franchise is a ‘franchise’ in part, because not only
does it have some proven track record and the systems
and training in place…but generally, they’ve spent
the money to build up a brand that has some sort of
market awareness.

Companies spend billions of dollars to build up
their brand through advertising.

You’ve all heard of Starbucks, Subway…McDonalds
etc…but they’ve been around for decades and they
literally have spent Billions of dollars to build up a
brand.

Okay, so today is the day we’ll revisit the interview
with none other than Ankur.

He grew his downline to 33,000 downline in 2 years.

How did he do it?

Here’s a quick summary:

- after spending about 6 months of traditional network
marketing – warm market/cold market, classified ads he
was able to build his team to a few hundred people
which is already pretty impressive. Don’t forget he was
only 25 at the time. Granted, this guy is one smart and
motivated dude!

- Then after some online mentoring from the various
gurus…he realized he should target people who are
actively searching for an opportunity AND have some
experience in his industry (or whatever industry you’re
in).

You see, when you target your network of friends and
family…it’s quite random. Granted, many people are
looking for ways to increase their wealth but not every
one wants to be an entrepreneur (or have what it takes).

Which is why if you do target your network – you need
a simple system to qualify them. Don’t try to convince,
bug and cajole them into live seminars, webinars etc

You need a simple system like the one Donald Trump
created – a 4 and half minute sizzle call you  can 3-way
your warm marketing into.

Everyone who knows you pretty well (your network)
has 5 minutes and everyone has a phone. Don’t just
send them an email…people get bombarded with
emails. Just pick up the phone and call them – and
3 way them into your company’s sizzle call to see
if they’re interested or not.

Here’s ours script you can model for your business:

”Hi Mary, how are you? Hey you got 5 minutes, I
have some amazing news to share with you. Great!
Donald Trump – you know, the star of the Apprentice?

Yes, well he’s started a new business and there’s an
opportunity to make a lot of money. The timing is
perfect by the way.

But I want you to hear from Donald himself – he’s
on the OTHER line! Here’s a short 4 minute recorded
message from Donald…hold on a sec.”

Now, once you’ve run out of warm market, if you
follow up correctly, and follow the system your
company provides properly, you should get a few
people involved…and your job then is to help them
duplicate the simple system.

However, if you want to take it to the next level…
you need more leads. It’s as simple as that.

20-30 leads a day ideally.

How? If you ask the experts, the simplest and most
targeted way is by using Google Adwords.

It’s how I became the top recruiter in just 9 months
out of 20,000 people in the first ever MLM company
I tried.

Which is why Ankur’s method is amazing – not only
does he do Google adwords…but he then merges it
with face to face meetings with his prospects (geo-
targeting his leads so they’re local or when he travels
the country etc) and funnels them into the company’s
prospecting system using third party tools and events.

Okay I have to get this off my chest.

We all want the magic bullet, and we all want “IT”
- the step by step formula to success, wealth, happiness,
the perfect soul mate, losing 40 lbs … you name it!!

Which is why most marketers will sell you “IT”.

The magic bullet, the magic potion, the magic wand

BUT…the reality is…the secret is in the WHY.

Not the “how to”. This is the reason why most people
FAIL. It’s NOT because they don’t have enough

You’ve probably read “Think and Grow Rich”.

A classic… But people perhaps get confused that
having a burning desire and goals is enough.

You may want something and you may know what
you want (ie how you gonna spend 3 million bucks etc)
but it’s not enough.

When you just ‘desire’ something…you’re sending
a certain vibration that you ‘lack’ it. And the word
desire itself has a certain connotation of ‘attachment’.

In some sense, an internal motivation – when you’re
on your mission, and you’ve discovered your calling…
that’s when you have IT. This is when you have the
PASSION, the ENTHUSIASM, the unstoppable
BELIEF, and the COURAGE to achieve your goals.

Think about the most successful people in the world.

From Bill Gates, Oprah, Richard Branson, Donald
Trump etc …and the words that describe them.

Visionary, leadership, motivated, passionate…

Expectations manifest themselves into creation.

Thoughts, words, actions, habits, perseverance and
then eventually, attainment. This is what Mark Yarnell
refers to as the Lotus Code…based on ancient 2,500
year old wisdom.

As attitude is 80% of success…over the next few
months of training, we shall be focusing 80% of our
training on attitude.
